Just in time for the Berlin Film Festival, we acquired worldwide rights to Anna Muylaert’s Brazilian black comedy Smoke Gets in Your Eyes (É Proibido Fumar).

The film, produced by Sara Silveira’s Dezenove Som & Imagens, swept 8 awards in the last Brasilia Film Festival, including Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Actor (Paulo Miklos, Estômago), and Best Actress (Glória Pires, If I Were You).
