On Wednesday Jan 27th Gandja Monteiro’s short “Almost Every Day” played at New York’s Anthology Film Archive as part of the New York Women in Film and Television Series: CineWomen on Screen.

“Almost Every Day” is shortlisted for the 2010 Academy Awards! The film had its World Premiere at 2009 Tribeca Film Festival, competed at the Rio and São Paulo International Film Festivals, LALIFF in Los Angeles, and will next be competing at the 2010 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
