I Travel Because I Have To, I Come Back Because I Love You World Premiere in Venice.

Marcelo Gomes and Karim Aïnouz made their World Premiere of I Travel Because I Have To, I Come Back Because I Love You at the 2009 Venice Film Festival.

The film has since won Best Director and Cinematography awards at the Rio Film Festival; the FIPRESCI and Best Sound in Havana; and Best Film in Santa Maria da Feira. Next screenings will be in Miami, Buenos Aires, Punta del Este, and Paris.
